Usually 90 to 140 hours, spread over twelve to eighteen months. On-the-day coordination takes 15 to 30, much of it in the final weeks.
Should I charge a flat fee or a percentage of the budget?
A flat fee based on your time is easier to defend: it doesn't depend on the couple's choices, and it doesn't push you to raise their budget.
