What happens to my pages and data when I stop my subscription or when the trial ends?
Nothing is erased. Your pages stay online but can no longer be edited, and go back to the free tier (no seating plan, announcements or access code) until you take a plan again: they then get everything back.
In order
- Straight away: your workspace stays open and your weddings can be viewed. You can no longer create a wedding or publish a page. The menu shows “Trial ended”.
- For 7 days after the trial ends: a page already live can still be corrected (a wrong time the day before a wedding shouldn’t have to wait for a payment).
- After that: the page stays online as it is, but moves to the free tier: no seating plan, no wedding-day announcements and no access code.
- If you take a plan again: your pages get all their features back, with nothing to redo.
Your templates, quotes, enquiries and data remain yours, and you can download them from My account. A couple can also take their page back in their own name (see My couple already has a Weddtap page, or wants to take it back: what happens?).
If you cancel a subscription, your pages go back to the free tier at the end of the paid period: the 7-day grace period is the one that follows the end of a trial.
