How do I write my agency’s method (my planning checklist)?
In Templates, the Planning checklist section lays out your steps in days before the wedding. Start from the standard method or write your own: it goes onto every new wedding and follows its date.
A step is set in days before the wedding (“Site visit at the venue, 45 days before”). Nothing is stored as a date: if the wedding date changes, every step follows.
- Open Agency template, under My agency, Planning checklist section.
- If it’s empty, tap Start from the standard method (21 steps) and adjust it, or Add a step.
- For each step, enter the Step, the When (days before or after) and the Ticks off column.

The Ticks off choice is either “by hand”, or a signal Weddtap can read: proposal signed, questionnaire filled, page online, run sheet with its suppliers, all guest replies in, arrival times given, balances paid, review asked. A step with a signal ticks itself off, and shows “auto”.
