Is my couples’ and their guests’ data protected? Who is responsible?
You are responsible for your couples’ and their guests’ data; Weddtap hosts and protects it on your behalf and does nothing else with it. It lives on our servers, not in your browser.
In Weddtap Pro, the agency is the controller of its couples’ and their guests’ data, and Weddtap is its processor. For your own account, Weddtap is the controller.
What is in place
- Your workspace is stored on our servers, hosted in Europe: you find it from any device, and so does your team.
- Passwords are hashed; access is limited per account, and secret links (suppliers, quotes, questionnaire, calendar) can’t be guessed.
- Your card never passes through Weddtap: it stays with Stripe.
- No advertising trackers on the pages your guests view.
- You can download or erase everything: How do I export my data, erase my weddings or delete my account?.
