Online RSVP
Online wedding RSVP, household by household
Your guests RSVP from your wedding website: one reply per household, with children, meal choices and dietary needs. You see who’s coming and who hasn’t replied, and chase them with one message. Free, with unlimited guests.
The useful questions
Everything your caterer will ask you
The menu
Offer two to four dishes: every adult picks theirs, and the caterer gets the exact count.
Dietary needs
Three boxes, not a free-text field. The “details” field only appears if you switch it on: an allergy is health data.
Children
How many, and how old, so the caterer plans the right meals and the right chairs.
Transport and accommodation
Who’s taking the coach, who’s still looking for somewhere to stay: you know how many seats to book, and whom to help.
The whole weekend
Drinks the night before, the brunch the morning after: a yes or a no for each. A private event only shows through the personal link of the households invited.
The caterer’s summary
Meals, children’s menus and dietary needs, in total and table by table: copy it, or download a spreadsheet with The Invitation.
How it works
Online RSVP in three steps
- 01
Add your guests
Paste your list from Excel, Google Sheets or your notes: one line per household. No list yet? The replies will build it.
- 02
Send the link
By WhatsApp, by text, or on the invitation with its QR code. Pick an RSVP date: it shows on the page.
- 03
Track and chase
Every reply lands in your list within seconds. For the stragglers, a message ready to send, household by household.
Card, form or website
RSVP card, Google Forms or Weddtap?
| What matters | Weddtap | RSVP card | Google Forms |
|---|---|---|---|
| Cost | Free, unlimited guests | Printing and return postage | Free |
| One reply for the whole household | Yes, it’s made for it | Yes | Build it yourself |
| Knowing who hasn’t replied | In your list, household by household | Ticking off the list by hand | Comparing the spreadsheet with your list |
| Chasing | A ready message, by WhatsApp or text | By phone | A message to write to each |
| Changing their mind | Yes, from the same phone | A phone call | If you allowed it |
| Times, address, order of the day | On the same page | On the invitation | Somewhere else |
Google Forms is a fine form tool: it just doesn’t know your guest list, or your wedding.
Pricing
Online RSVP is free
Your guests’ replies are in the free plan, with no limit on guests, and they stay there. The caterer’s spreadsheet comes with The Invitation (£35, once); the table plan, filled from those replies, with The Big Day (£59, once).
