Planning

Plan your wedding: budget, timeline, suppliers

Weddtap keeps your budget, your countdown plan and your suppliers in one place, in a space your guests never see. The dates are set from your wedding day, and each supplier gets their run sheet in a link. The budget and the countdown plan are in the free plan.

Budget and countdown plan

What’s planned, what’s paid, what’s left

  • A ceiling you don’t want to go over, if you want to set one
  • Deposit and balance for each line, with the date it falls due
  • Overdue milestones, the next thirty days, the ones done

Suppliers

Every supplier knows when to arrive

  • Trade, name, phone, arrival time on site
  • Their moments from the order of the day, put first in their link
  • Instructions for them alone: the service door, the socket under the marquee

In one place

Next to your guests, but never in front of them

  • A “My planning” menu, apart from the guide your guests open
  • An invitation for your other half: they create their account and land on the same page
  • If you both edit at once, nothing is overwritten: a message tells you

In detail

What you’ll find on your side

  • The starting estimate

Eleven pre-filled lines, ready to correct. You replace them with your real quotes as the appointments go by, or start from a blank page.

  • The ceiling

What you don’t want to go over. Weddtap tells you how much room is left, or by how much you’ve gone over. Leave it at zero if you’d rather not set one.

  • Deposits and balances

Each line can have its payments. One falling due this week is flagged on your home screen, and “Let them know” messages the supplier on WhatsApp once it’s paid.

  • Eighteen milestones

From “Agree a budget range, together” to “Have the drinks delivered”. The dates are calculated from yours, not typed in: the wedding moves by a month, everything follows.

  • Who’s on it

Each milestone says who’s handling it: the two of you, someone else, or your planner if you have one. One plan, shared between several people.

  • Who to call on site

On the day, it isn’t you they should ring. A witness’s or a parent’s name and number go at the top of every run sheet.

How it works

Your planning, in three steps

  1. 01

    Start from the estimate

Correct the lines with your quotes: planned first, then paid at each deposit. What’s left to pay works itself out.

  2. 02

    Tick off the milestones

They’re already set from your date. Hand a few to a witness or a parent, and add your own.

  3. 03

    Send the run sheets

Add each supplier with their arrival time. A link to send around T-10 days, a confirmation around T-3.

Frequently asked questions

Questions about planning your wedding

Can my guests see my budget?
No. The budget, the countdown plan and the suppliers sit on your side of the editor. The page your guests open doesn’t show them anywhere.
Do I have to pay for the budget and the countdown plan?
No, they’re in the free plan. The Invitation (£35) and The Big Day (£59) are paid once, with no subscription, and add other features.
Does my supplier need an account?
No. They open their link and read their run sheet: arrival time, instructions, their moments from the order of the day, and who to call on site.
What if the wedding date changes?
You change the date and the milestones follow, since their dates are calculated from it. For suppliers, send the link again: it holds the run sheet.
What does the caterer see on their run sheet?
Their time, instructions and moments, like the others, plus the covers and dietary needs taken from the replies. The venue sees them too. Other suppliers don’t.
How do we plan this together?
From the editor’s home screen, you send your partner an invitation link, valid for 30 days. They create their account and land on the same page, with the same budget.
What if I have a wedding planner?
You read their payment schedule and supplier list in your space. To change them, you write to them: they’re the ones who keep them.
