Key takeaways

144 namesacross six themes of twenty-four: cities, flowers, famous couples, films, gemstones and music.

  • The generator suggests wedding table names in six themes: cities, flowers, famous couples, films, gemstones and music, with twenty-four names per theme.
  • You choose from 4 to 24 tables, shuffle in one click, add a top table if you like, then copy the list or print the table cards.
  • The printed cards show the table number with its name, handy for the caterer and the seating plan.

How the lists are put together

  1. 01Each theme has twenty-four names, written for each language: cities and films carry the name they go by in English, French or Spanish.
  2. 02The first view follows the list’s order; “Shuffle” draws another order, and each theme has its own names.
  3. 03Plan one table per eight to ten guests; the top table is on top of that.
  4. 04It all happens in your browser: nothing is sent, nothing is kept.

Frequently asked questions

Before you choose

How do you choose a theme for table names?
Pick the one that’s you: cities you’ve travelled to, favourite films, the flowers in your bouquet. Guests find a table faster when they recognise the theme.
How many tables do you need?
Divide your guest count by the seats per table, usually eight to ten. For 100 guests at ten a table, plan ten tables, plus a top table if you want one.
Should tables have numbers as well as names?
Not necessarily, but the cards the tool prints show the number with the name: handy for the caterer, the seating plan and guests who don’t know the reference.
How do you print the table cards?
Press “Print the table cards”: only the cards print, two per row. Choose “Save as PDF” if you’d rather send them to a printer.

What they look for is the time, the address, where to park and which table they’re on. Your wedding page tells them, and keeps itself up to date.
