How do I set the deposit and balance on a quote?
In the quote’s Payment schedule block, tap “Suggest 30% + balance 30 days before”, or add your own instalments. It’s a tracker: nothing is paid on Weddtap.
The payment schedule says what the couple owes you, and when. It appears on the quote the couple signs, then feeds the Payments tab.
- In the quote, in the Payment schedule block, tap Suggest 30% + balance 30 days before.
- Adjust the descriptions (“Deposit, balance…”), dates and amounts, or tap Add an instalment.
- Check there’s no gap: “The schedule doesn’t add up to the total”.

The suggestion places the 30% deposit on the quote’s validity date, and the balance 30 days before the wedding. If the wedding is less than a month away, or has no date, everything is due on signing.
