How are my quotes numbered?
Each new quote is given a number automatically, in the form 2026-004: the year, then the position within the year. The number doesn’t change afterwards and can’t be edited by hand.
The number is assigned when the quote is created: the current year, a hyphen, then three digits (“2026-004”). It appears at the top of the quote, online and when printed.
- The counter restarts at 001 every year.
- A copy (the Duplicate button) gets a new number, a new link, and goes back to draft.
- No field lets you type a number by hand.
