My couple’s PRO-… code is invalid or expired
A code only works for 30 days and only as it was given. Make a new code in “Invite the couple” and resend it: the couple can then type its six characters or open the link.
The couple’s screen says exactly what’s wrong. Here are the most frequent messages and the step that fixes each.
- “That doesn’t look like a Weddtap code”: check the six characters. There is never an O, a 0, an I, a 1 or an L.
- “We can’t find this code, or it has been replaced”: a new code has been made since, or this one is wrong. Resend the current code.
- “This link is incomplete”: the link was cut off when copied. Resend it in full.
- “This link is more than 30 days old”: you need a new code.
Making a new code
- On the wedding’s card, ⋯ then Invite the couple.
- Tap Make a new code at the bottom, then resend the link or the code.
