My calendar isn’t syncing or is out of date
Calendars re-read the link every few hours: some delay is normal. If the calendar is empty or shows an error, the link may have been changed, or imported as a file instead of being added as an internet calendar.
What to check
- The delay: Google, Apple and Outlook re-read the link by themselves, every few hours. Something new can take a while to appear.
- The link: if you tapped Change the link, the old one no longer works in any calendar where it was added. Add the new one.
- How it was added: in Outlook, use “Add calendar from the internet” and paste the link. Importing a file only gives a frozen copy.
- What to expect: archived and sample weddings aren’t included, what’s done disappears (a step ticked, a balance paid), and events more than six months in the past aren’t picked up.
