Does my page work without a signal on the big day?
In part: a page that has been opened once is kept on the phone and reopens without a signal, with the table search. Announcements and the guest book need a network.
Weddtap keeps in memory the page the guest has just read, so it reopens in a room with no signal. So they need to have opened it at least once beforehand (at home, for example).
Good to know
- A page protected by a code is never kept offline: its copy would reopen without the code.
- Some browsers (private browsing, data saver) refuse this memory: the page then works as usual, with a network.
- Without a network, no new announcement arrives and nobody can write in the guest book.
